Why IDF-SBA is focused on helping nonprofit leaders find support sooner, strengthen their organizations and keep more resources moving toward the mission.

Dear Mission Leader,

If you are leading a nonprofit, you already know the mission matters. The harder question is how to keep the mission funded long enough to do the work.

That is the problem IDF-SBA is built to help solve.

Since 2007, IDF-SBA has focused on practical assistance that helps people and organizations move forward. Today, our nonprofit work is centered on a simple belief:

you should not have to wait until your organization is perfect before you can begin building funding momentum.

Too many nonprofit leaders hear some version of, “You are not grant-ready yet.” Sometimes that is true for a particular foundation or major institutional grant. But it does not mean your organization is not funding-ready.

There are grants, corporate community programs, donated technology, in-kind support, local opportunities, discounts and other resources that may be accessible much earlier in an organization’s life.

An early YES can help lower expenses, strengthen credibility, improve presentation and give a team the confidence to pursue the next opportunity.

“The mission is the reason. Funding is the fuel.”

That philosophy shapes the way we are building IDF-SBA.

We want to help nonprofits find more support, spend less on essentials and become stronger in the eyes of funders.

Sometimes that means showing you where an opportunity is and giving you the tools to pursue it yourself.

Sometimes it means working alongside you.

And sometimes it means doing the work for you.

We are especially interested in newer nonprofits, grassroots organizations and mission leaders who are doing real work while still building the infrastructure, visibility and materials that larger funders expect.

Our goal is not to turn every nonprofit leader into a professional grant writer.

Our goal is to help you build the credibility, systems, resources and funding habits that make it easier to keep doing what your organization was created to do.

That is why the YES Grant matters. It is not simply about the value of an individual product or service. It is about getting an early win, building momentum and discovering that support can come from more places than you may have realized.

And that is why IDF-SBA is becoming more than a grant program.

We are building a nonprofit ecosystem around funding opportunities, technology, practical resources, organizational readiness and ongoing support.

The mission is still yours.

Our job is to help you keep it funded.

Sincerely,

Maurice W. Evans
