Program & Funding Disclosures
How to understand IDF-SBA funding claims, in-kind grant values, approval rates, program eligibility and third-party opportunities.
Last Updated: August 25, 2026
International Development Fund for Social Benefit Assistance ("IDF-SBA") publishes information about its own grants, in-kind support, memberships, technology and professional services, as well as independent funding and resource opportunities offered by third parties. This page explains how to understand the funding, approval-rate, program-value and third-party opportunity claims appearing on IDFSBA.com and in IDF-SBA communications.
IMPORTANT
IDF-SBA is an independent private organization. It is not a government agency, government-sponsored program or government funding portal. Unless a specific page expressly states otherwise, an IDF-SBA grant may consist of products, services, technology, credits, discounts or other in-kind support and is not necessarily a cash award.

1. Independent Private Organization
IDF-SBA is an independent private organization. IDF-SBA is not a government agency, does not operate as an agency of the United States or any state, local or foreign government, and is not a government-sponsored program.
References to nonprofit grants, assistance, funding support, stimulus, programs, applications, approvals or awards describe IDF-SBA programs or independent third-party opportunities. They should not be interpreted as government funding unless the specific opportunity is expressly identified as a government program and links to the applicable government source.
2. "$50 Million in Grants & Support" and Program Capacity
IDF-SBA's statement that it has committed up to $50 million in nonprofit grants and support through December 2027 describes the maximum aggregate program capacity IDF-SBA has committed to make available across qualifying grants, in-kind assistance, products, services, technology, credits, discounts and other forms of IDF-SBA support during the stated period.
The $50 million figure is not a representation that IDF-SBA is holding $50 million in cash for distribution, that $50 million will necessarily be paid or awarded, or that any particular applicant will receive a cash grant. Actual aggregate support provided will depend on eligible participation, program utilization, available capacity, fulfillment, program continuation and the mix of benefits used by participating organizations.
Where support is non-cash, its value is included as described in Section 5 below.
3. "Up to 20,000 Organizations"
The statement that up to 20,000 organizations may receive support describes IDF-SBA's planned maximum organizational reach for the applicable 2026–2027 program period. It is a capacity target, not a promise that exactly 20,000 organizations will apply, qualify or receive assistance.
The actual number served may be lower and will depend on participation, eligibility, verification, available resources, program utilization and other operational factors.
4. "Up to $2,500 in First-Year IDF-SBA Support"
The statement that an organization may receive up to $2,500 in first-year IDF-SBA support refers to the combined value of eligible IDF-SBA grants, products, services, technology, credits, discounts and other support an organization may receive or use during its applicable first-year program period.
"Up to" is a maximum, not a guaranteed amount. Organizations may receive less than the maximum, may qualify for only certain forms of support, or may choose not to use all available benefits. Unless an offer specifically says "cash," a stated dollar value should not be interpreted as money payable directly to the organization.
5. How In-Kind Support Is Valued
Dollar values assigned to non-cash support may reflect, as appropriate to the benefit, the standard retail or list price, customary public price, ordinary service price, provider-assigned value, IDF-SBA's customary price for the same or substantially similar service, or another reasonable measure of the value of the product, service, technology, credit or support provided.
In-kind value is used to describe the economic benefit of assistance and does not create a right to receive the stated value in cash. A recipient generally may not exchange an in-kind award for cash unless the specific program expressly permits it.
Discounted resources are distinct from grants unless IDF-SBA expressly identifies the discount, subsidy or associated benefit as part of a grant award. Savings may vary based on what an organization would otherwise purchase and the price available from other providers.
6. 98% Approval Rate
As of August 2026, IDF-SBA publishes a 98% approval rate in connection with applicable IDF-SBA nonprofit support programs. This figure is based on IDF-SBA's internal program records for the applicant population and measurement period reflected in the claim.
The approval rate is historical or current program information, not a guarantee or forecast of approval for any individual applicant. Approval rates can change as new applications are received, eligibility rules change, programs expand, applicant populations change or additional program data becomes available.
Eligibility remains subject to the requirements of the specific program. IDF-SBA may update, replace or discontinue a published approval-rate figure, without notice, when the underlying data materially changes.
7. YES Grant
The IDF-SBA YES Grant is an IDF-SBA grant program intended to help eligible nonprofit organizations obtain an early funding or resource win and improve organizational readiness. The current 2026 cycle is advertised for eligible U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and is scheduled for August 1 through November 30, 2026, subject to the current program rules and available capacity.
The YES Grant is primarily an in-kind grant. An award may include one or more products, services, technology resources, credits, professional support or other benefits identified for the applicable cycle. An award is not necessarily cash and not every approved organization will necessarily receive every benefit displayed or described on the Site.
The specific contents, timing, fulfillment method and value of a YES Grant may vary according to program availability, organizational need, eligibility and the grant option or benefit being provided.
8. $0 Application and No Purchase Requirement
There is no application fee to apply for the IDF-SBA YES Grant. A nonprofit does not have to purchase a product, hire IDF-SBA, or become an IDF-SBA member in order to submit a YES Grant application.
Purchasing a membership, service or product does not determine YES Grant approval and does not purchase preferential treatment in the YES Grant decision process.
IDF-SBA may separately offer memberships, professional services, technology, training, resources or other paid products to organizations, including grant applicants and recipients. Those offers are separate from the right to apply for the YES Grant.
9. Eligibility, Verification and Availability
Every IDF-SBA program may establish its own eligibility requirements. Requirements may include nonprofit or tax-exempt status, geography, organization type, program purpose, documentation, operational status, website or contact information, organizational verification, application completeness, capacity or other reasonable program criteria.
IDF-SBA may verify information using documents supplied by an applicant, publicly available records or lawful third-party sources. An organization may be asked for additional information before an application or benefit is approved or fulfilled.
Meeting stated eligibility requirements does not necessarily create an entitlement to an award. Programs may be limited by available products, service capacity, technology licenses, credits, budget, staffing, cycle dates or other finite resources. Unless a program expressly says otherwise, benefits are available only while the applicable program remains open and capacity remains available.
IDF-SBA may deny, suspend, cancel or revoke a benefit where information is inaccurate, incomplete, fraudulent, unverifiable, duplicated, submitted without proper organizational authority, or otherwise inconsistent with applicable program rules.
10. Third-Party Grants, CCFPs and Resource Opportunities
IDF-SBA may publish articles, directories, training, recommendations or alerts concerning independent grants, Corporate Community Funding Programs (CCFPs), software programs, donated products, discounts, local community support and other opportunities offered by companies, foundations, government entities or other organizations.
Unless a page expressly states that IDF-SBA is the grantmaker, administrator or authorized partner for a particular opportunity, IDF-SBA does not control the third-party program. Eligibility, deadlines, geographic restrictions, available awards, approval decisions, fulfillment, terms and continued availability are determined by the applicable third-party provider.
IDF-SBA may summarize a third-party opportunity for convenience, but applicants should review the provider's current official information before applying. A provider may change, pause, replace or discontinue a program without notice to IDF-SBA.
If IDF-SBA has a referral, reseller, affiliate, fulfillment or other material commercial relationship related to a third-party offer, IDF-SBA will provide an appropriate disclosure where the relationship would reasonably be material to the user's evaluation of the recommendation or offer.
11. No Guarantee of Third-Party Funding or Results
IDF-SBA may help organizations discover funding opportunities, understand program requirements, improve funding readiness, prepare materials or pursue support. IDF-SBA cannot guarantee approval, funding, an award amount or a decision timeline from an independent third-party funder or provider.
Examples, case studies, prior awards, reported wins and historical approval experiences describe past or individual results and do not guarantee that another organization will receive the same result.
Where a third-party program uses language such as "up to," establishes discretionary awards or limits assistance based on available funds or supplies, those limitations remain applicable regardless of any IDF-SBA training, membership or professional assistance.
12. Membership, Paid Services and Funding Decisions
IDF-SBA membership may provide access to resources, discounts, training, tools, member opportunities or other benefits described for the applicable membership level. IDF-SBA may also offer paid "done with you" or "done for you" services intended to improve organizational presentation, operations or funding readiness.
Membership or the purchase of IDF-SBA services does not guarantee third-party funding and does not cause an independent funder to approve an application. IDF-SBA does not sell guaranteed grant approvals.
Paid assistance may improve the quality, completeness, organization, presentation or readiness of an organization's materials, but final decisions remain with the applicable funder or program administrator.
Unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise, IDF-SBA does not take custody or control of charitable contributions or third-party grant funds on behalf of a participating organization.
13. Media, Company Names, Logos and Trademarks
Media names or logos appearing in an "As Seen On," media-history or similar presentation identify media outlets in which IDF-SBA, its work or its leadership has appeared, been covered, interviewed, featured or otherwise presented. Such display does not by itself mean that the media outlet currently sponsors, endorses, funds or is affiliated with IDF-SBA.
Names, logos, trademarks and program names of companies or third-party organizations may be used for identification, commentary, education, news, comparison or to describe an opportunity. They remain the property of their respective owners.
Reference to a company such as Walmart, Target, Microsoft, Google or another provider does not mean that company sponsors or endorses IDF-SBA unless an express partnership or sponsorship is specifically identified.
14. Use of the Term "Stimulus"
IDF-SBA may use terms such as "financial stimulus," "nonprofit stimulus" or "stimulus programs" to describe private efforts intended to reduce operating costs, provide resources, increase funding readiness or otherwise strengthen organizations economically.
When used by IDF-SBA, the term "stimulus" is descriptive and does not mean that the program is a federal, state, local or foreign-government economic-stimulus program unless the specific opportunity is expressly identified as such.
15. Dates, Deadlines and Changing Program Information
Grant cycles, deadlines, benefit values, eligibility rules, third-party offers and other program details may change. Dates published on a specific current program page control over older articles, social posts, videos, downloadable resources or archived information when there is a conflict.
IDF-SBA may extend, shorten, pause, replace or discontinue an IDF-SBA program when reasonably necessary because of capacity, availability, operational requirements, legal requirements or changes to the underlying product or service.
For third-party opportunities, the provider's current official terms control.
16. Tax, Legal and Accounting Considerations
Receipt of a grant, product, service, discount, credit or other benefit may have accounting, reporting, tax, charitable-registration or other consequences depending on the organization and jurisdiction. IDF-SBA does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice through general Site content.
Organizations are responsible for maintaining appropriate records and obtaining professional advice when needed.
17. Corrections and Questions
IDF-SBA makes reasonable efforts to keep program information accurate and current. If you believe a funding claim, program description, third-party opportunity, valuation or disclosure is inaccurate or outdated, please notify us so it can be reviewed.
Questions about these disclosures may be submitted through the Contact page.
